Hi everyone,

Well- we went to get star scanned today, and I really thought that

they were gonna say " oh he looks so much better! " but that is not

what happened. The scan showed not very much improvement at all!

She could even see the tears in my eyes. We asked lots of questions

and we could tell they were making sure they were Covering their

butts- by not telling us that we could see great results. So after

many questions we decided to go ahead and start the process. I am

not sure of what numbers are the most important, but

mentioned the cephalic ratio= at 4 months he was 85.3 and now he is

85.4. If anyone has a star scan summery report could you tell me

what numbers everyone looks at? There are so many.

They said he had brachy and plagy. he will get his helmet on Aug

6th. On our way out we met a lady and her son and she told us how

pleased she was with the results so far. -she even showed us his

head and where she had seen the improvements. That really helped.

So we are gonna move forward, and believe God that we will get

maximum correction. With God all things are possible. We do what

we can- and He does the rest.

I posted his pics under Z for Zachary R. If anyone would like to

take a look and offer their opinions.

Take care everyone! I look forward to being a member of this group

and learning from everyone's experiences.

God Bless!

I just looked again at Zachary's pictures. From the top view, he doesn't show much brachy to me. His ears seem to be misaligned and he has a bit of facial asymetry. I'd say that he mostly has plagio. Do you have his asymetry measurements?

His cephalic index is not bad at all. Very close to normal. Some babies graduate with the number you gave. My daughter, Maysa, has brachy and her CI is 99%. You can check her out in the M folder and compare.

With a band, a good ortho and a growing baby, there is no doubt that you will see improvement. Good luck!
