Evan's First Day in his Helmet

Evan was fitted with his helmet (a P.A.P. Orthosis) this afternoon. He

cried when they first put it on, but when they put it on the second &

third times afer fine tuning it he was fine. He has been a little

fussier tonight, but over all I think he is doing good. I put a couple

of photos in the " Our Plagio Babies - E " album.

Hi there,

How neat that Evan has a clear helmet -- that is really terrific! It

looks so much lighter than all of the others as well. But how do they

make adjustments to the fit if there is no foam on the inside? I

wonder if this is one of the " passive " helmets I've read about? Just

curious...

I hope Evan adjusts well to the helmet! It took my daughter about a

week to fully adjust; she had a hard time sleeping at first and really

rubbed her eyes a lot. 3.5 weeks in and she seems to not notice it all.
