Guest guest
I forgot to mention that Ava endlessly rubs her eyes when tired/can't sleep if she's in the helmet. I never noticed her doing this before. I'm not sure if the helmet is somehow making her eyes itchy? But that is the main thing that is interfering with nursing: she pulls off and brings her arms up to her eyes and rubs like crazy. She doesn't seem to be having any other allergic-type reactions and the helmet does not feel like it would be itchy at all. Our ortho is great and has made a few adjustments already...so i'm sure I can go back if need be and ask him, but also wanted your thoughts. thanks. kristine (mom to ava; 1 week in hanger helmet)
Guest guest
Dylan did the same thing his first couple weeks in his STARband. I thought it was allergies too. I think he was just getting use to the helmet being so close to his eyes and he was tired. He actually just stopped doing it so I would give a couple of weeks. Chrissy Mom to Dylan 7 1/2 months STARband 1 month nighttime seems to be getting worse...one more t hing I forgot to mention that Ava endlessly rubs her eyes when tired/can'tsleep if she's in the helmet.
