Guest guest
well last friday we went to union orthotics and got the star scan thing done for Athena's Starband. I was pretty nervous about it, but it was not as bad as I expected. Now we are just waiting for the band. But I have a question, she is 10 months old, and the ortho said she would consider Athena's case to be 'moderate to severe'. I think she is going through a growth spurt right now. Will it be bad, if we get the helmet after she is done with this growth spurt? I only think she is due to the fact that she is eating a ton, and sleeping a little more. I just want to make this as painless and short as possible. The ortho did say that it was up to us, when we wanted to quit. That she would not push us to keep it on if we didn't want to and were satisfied. I even asked her a few questions that I got off of here, to see how experienced she really was and how good she was, and she answered them, right on the money. She said she deals with plagio babies 8 hours a day, 3 days a week...sometimes more, and her co worker deals with them the other days during the week. So they know what they are doing...I hope. I am just so nervous. I hope she gets the helmet at the beginign of the week. That way, maybe she will still have a little of her growth spurt left by the time she gets it on. Sorry this is so jumbled. I am tired, and I am trying to be quick, since it just started thunderstorming here. Thank you all, Athena, 10 months, awaiting STARband, and rt tort Illeanna 3 years
