i know what you mean.. Zayveir is always sweating... i clean it twice a

day once in the moring and once at night with water a little soap and

than alchol!!! and wash his head at night and a bath in the morning and

i dress him in as less clothes i can, a diper and t at night!!! if you

see him sweating really really bad i would take it off and wipe him and

the helmet down... make sure he doesnt over heat!!! keep him cool!! its

going to be sooo hard i know!! i already hate it!!! we are not going to

be able to do much outside in the heat this summer!! well good luck, ow

yea i live in appleton WI!!!

If they haven't already, they can drill some air holes in the

StarBand, just be sure they only drill them in the parts of the band

that cover the flat areas of the head, not the prominent. Drilling

holes in the prominent areas where the band is holding with pressure

can cause the head to start growing out of the holes (he'll have

little bumps on his head where the holes are).

It should get a little better once his body adjusts to the extra

heat. But it is likely to continue through the summer. My son has

been sweatier since it's gotten hotter and I just take his band off

in the middle of the day to dry it and his head before replacing it.
