New member has ? DD 1st day in Doc Band

Hi my DD got her band yesterday but she really didn't wear it because

we painted it. Today I have noticed she is getting squishy face

especially around the eyes and the band is turning her eyebrow area

really really red but it goes away during the 1 hour off time. My ? is

this normal or is this a sign of a poor fit? BTW she is doing great in

it! I think getting banded was harder on me than my DD! LOL Thanks in

It's not a poor fit, it's just the way the band fits at first. My son

experienced the same squished face look (no redness though). As long

as the redness goes away within one hour, you should be good. You can

always go in for an adjustment though if it would make you feel

better. Usually the kinks get worked out in the first week. Glad to

hear she's taking it well. Good luck!
