Guest guest
I highly recommend the DOCBand. Cranial Tech has a long and proven history. I understand your position though, we could have gone for a StarBand about 40 minutes away, but chose to go to CT almost 3 hours away. I felt strongly that it was the better place to go so was willing to make the drive. Which CT would you be going to? Have you gone to both for consultations? If not, I recommend it. It's always good to get a first-hand feel for each place and then follow your gut. Good luck with the decision! Guest guest
I am in the same exact dilemma. Orginally I was only considering Star band b/c it was closer (45 minutes), but for piece of mind I also made an appointment this week for the Doc Band (2 + hours). From everything I have read DOC band seems to have a much better reputation. And they did tell me that since my daughter is older (6 months) I only would have to come every 2 weeks instead of weekly. I am going for a consult at both this week, so I will let you know. What area are you in? We are considering STARband in Columbia ,MD and DOC band in VA. > > > > DS will be 7 months and we need to make a quick decision to go with > the STAR band or the > > DOC band. Guest guest
we had a starband from a very experienced ortho, and were happy with it. I would recommend visiting both offices and seeing which you are more comfortable with. Cranial Tech has a great reputation and all their staff seem well trained from what I know (mostly from this board). The starband success depends on how good the ortho is - and this varies a lot. -christine sydney 2.5 yrs starband grad > > DS will be 7 months and we need to make a quick decision to go with the STAR band or the > DOC band.
