Guest guest Posted August 18, 2008 Report Share Posted August 18, 2008 Hi Luke, If you are insured through an employer or other group plan, I'm almost 100% sure your insurance cannot single out your family and drop you as they're agreement is to cover the entire group. We have been denied on the original medical referral/prescripti on. The first appeal upheld the insurance companies denial. We are working on the information for the second appeal and we are getting concerned about...- will the insurance company find a generic reason to drop us - if we push back too hard/often- has anyone else been dropped after 3 or 4 appealsThank you!This is a great site with a lot of information and people that care about the health and well being of their children.
