Guest guest
All, I have just placed PDF versions of the protein count files in the files section. These are PDF versions of the existing Excel spreadsheets in response to requests from those who don't have Excel. Acrobat Reader is all that's required to print them. The latest Acrobat Reader may be obtained here: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html These are from the USDA data set as published in table 2 of Home and Garden Bulletin No. 72, " Nutritive Value of Foods, " revised 1985. The list is HUGE, quite comprehensive, and authoritative. This data is the source of nutritional information used by many authors of nutrition books, yet is free :-) As in the Excel spreadsheets, one is sorted by food name, the other sorted by protein content. They are in the " Protein " (lists of protein counts) folder: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/duodenalswitch/files/Protein/ Enjoy,
