Guest guest Posted July 22, 2001 Report Share Posted July 22, 2001 Hi all, Tricia here. Mom to 3.2 ASD and 5.2 NT GFCF for 15 months now and whole house GFCF for one week. I was on the list for a few months when we started last year but sort of took a break from the computer <unless I was printing Drill sheets, scheduels, or writing letters to the county>. I am now ready to go further with the diet as well as share what I have learned this past year. Share- Made " oatmeal " cookies last night! WOW!!! Used the traditional cookie recipe from the quaker can oats but substituted My favorite flour blend <1/2 Gifts of nature all purpose and 1/2 Miss Roben's Featherlight> used quinoa flakes for oats. Turned out fabulous. Even my fussy husband said they were very close to real thing. Bought and called Turtle Mountain. I'ts soy delicious vanilla non- dairy frozen dessert. They confirmed GFCF. Chocolate is CF but they have not YET confirmed GF in purchased flavorings they use but they are working on it. They have a product line of Organic Soy Delicious Frozen Desserts that they confirmed all are GFCF I have not tried these yet IF making your own Ice cream try substituing 1/2 of mixture for Imagine puddings that are GFCF before putting into maker. Creamy!!! Questions: CORN POPS Malt-0-Meal I can not get anymore and can not find a replacement SE PA Any one know of one that is GFCF? or have a highly reactive kid who eats the kellogs with no reactions who feels they are probably ok? Anyone seen a reaction to cracker jacks or perkys nutty rice? These are stapples at our house and I have heard of possible cross- contamination issues but have not seen anything with Linds.
