My son has had his Starband for about 5 months. We've see remarkable

results and his head looks much better. The most improvement has been

in the back of his head, which has rounded out nicely. However, his

head is still wider than normal. My question is, he will outgrow his

band soon, so will his head stay like that or will it continue to

round out? I'm hoping that with time, it'll be more proprotion. Has

anyone else gone through this?

My daughter had severe brachy and wore her band for 5 mo (age 5 to 10

mo). Her head is still wider than normal, and I see the problems when

we wash her hair, but normally she looks fine. She still has some odd

bumps (sort of " corners " on her head) and a little flatness at the

top. However she got a lot of correction. She went from about 97% to 85%.

She graduated at 10 mo. At 14 mo we went for another scan and her

head was about the same (some growth, but the overall proportion

hadn't changed). I haven't had her checked since then, but I think

she's about the same as she was. I hope will round out a little more

over time, but if not she'll still be fine.
