Just received 2nd denial from Cigna, so working on another appeal, trying to get Cigna to pay in Texas. I'll find out if the state of Texas can help.

HI Parents! I wanted to let those of you out there fighting with appeals and your insurance to get the band covered or to even get a prescription.Here in CA there is an appeal process thru the state that helps consumers get the the help they need from thier ins. companies. After exhausting the appeals thru your ins. and you still don't have a resolution in your favor you can appeal to the state. Here are cases that the state ruled on for Durable Medical Equipment.

I am in the same boat as you fighting with the insurance co and they have denied 2 times. If you find out if the state can help will you let me know I will do my research as well. Thanks
