Guest guest
Hi all, We are starting our second week in our Hanger band. We had some issues with a knot above her ear (thanks to all who responded about that) but we just got back from an adjustment. My dtr has A LOT of hair so it makes it hard to see and keep track of any redness. Unless I slick it over before we put the helmet on her bangs stick out above her eyes. She gets so sweaty that her hair is soaked every time we take it off. And of course, getting it on and off we always seem to be pulling her hair. Do you think I should get her hair cut? I love her hair but if she will be more comfortable I am definitely willing to shorten it up a good bit! Thanks for your advice! Guest guest
Hi ! I have the exact same issue with my baby. And actually, we are on our way out right now to get a haircut! He has very thick hair and with the helmet on it pushes his hair down on his forehead and his hair is just soaked within a few minutes of wearing the helmet. I just want to ease this transition as much as i can for him and make him as comfortable as possible. We're going to get a buzz cut- I love his thick hair but as Moms we do what we gotta do. I'm hoping that without the hair he'll start accepting the helmet a little better. We've had it for 4 days so far and I think the main problem is that it's so hot in there, despite every attempt to keep him cool. No one can see their pretty hair under the helmet anyway and by the time their treatment is over their hair will likely be grown out so I would so to go for it. I'm going to post some before and after pics later. : Mom to Jadyn 8 Months - 4th day with Clarren Helmet Ava 23 Months > > Hi all, > We are starting our second week in our Hanger band.
