Guest guest
Your steps seem right on. The cost out of pocket is 3600 or 3300 if you pay it up front. We were financed Via care credit with 3% interest rate that does not go into effect for 12 months and my payments are 100.00 a month. We wanted to stat with no delay so I am appealing my insurance denial. CT also provided me with an appeal packet and I am now on my second appeal out of a possible three. I think I have a shot at reimbursement based on the squeaky wheel theory. I don't think I will see any actual money for months which is why I am glad I did care credit. I was approved within minutes online and CT supplied me with the information to apply at their office. Steps involved in treatment with band/helmetHi Guys Can you please let me what are the steps in this treatment This is what I have understood so far 1. get a prescription for helmet from Pediatrician/ neuro surgeon 2. Consult Cranial tech for first consultation 3. Provide the insurance info to Cranial tech 4. get the approval from Insurance ( I think this is the toughest step) 5. Start the treatment 6.End of the treatment Can you please let me know if these are the steps involved. Also please let me know what was your experience with the insurance company. I have heard these companies deny the claim in most of the cases. Any idea how much it would cost in total with out insurance? Please help. Thanks You Chanda
Guest guest
We started as soon as we could and waited for the approval after the fact. It was around 3200 out of pocket and insurance ours is blue cross blue shield empire government coverd 2800 dollars worth which was a surprise. Good luck and start treatment regardless if you can afford it even is insurance does not pull through.
