BE CAREFUL, I HEARD THAT THE SCENTED ALCOHOL CAN TURN THE HELMET THAT COLOR AND YOUR BABYS HAIR THAT COLOR TOO!

Works GREAT for the smell...

CVS makes Alcohol wipes and they make a CITRUS scented version. Itsmells like oranges and knocks the smell right out. The NOPCO technicial recommended the alcohol wipes so I figured thecitrus may be a little milder smell than straight alcohol. They work GREAT. No more Pickle/Dirty Feet Smell haha

Is that a joke? That's hysterical.

It hasn't done anything to the helmet color nor his hair color. The

alcohol as with any alcohol evaporates away and only the scent is

left...nothing residual.

CT told us that the wintergreen scented could dye the inside of the band as well, never heard that about the hair though. But the wintergreen has a green tint to it, do the wipes have any tint to them? keep in mind alcohol evaporates but the additive they use to scent or color it is NOT alcohol and therefore will not necesarily evaporate so as teh alcohol evaporates you are left with only the residue of the color or scent so there is something residual whther it is colored or not. But if your child doesnt have sensitive skin that probablyw ill not be an issue, I mean even soaps and shampoos leave a residue so they are used to a residue under the band. However if the wipes are colored too I would worry about dying the band. But again this was recommended by your orthotist so I wouldnt worry. However I would caution others to check about their particular band maker first b/c most bands say to use alcohol only and that residue may or may not be an issue. I also would use caution, regardless of your orthotist/therapists say IF your child has sensitive skin. That is why we never tried the wintergreen, glad I didnt b/c the therpist didnt tell us the 1st visit we should only use plain, though they did recommend the 91% and that doesnt come in wintergreen so I guess I probably

wouldnt have anyway but they didnt mention not using the wintergreen until like his 3rd or 4th visit. But my son has very sensitive skin so I wouldnt have tried it anyway. We didnt even try the scented shampoos until we absolutely had to (for smell) and even then limited them to once a week (and thatw as enough)
