Guest guest
I have heard of heads regressing and becoming flat again but I think there is only a 1% regression rate. However, I don't know how a head could possibly shrink and get smaller. What type of band did your son wear? How long has he been out of it? Hi, my name is Lindsey. My 13-month-old son Gavin has finished the process of wearing a cranial band. He wore it for 16 weeks. Recently, I noticed his head began to get flat again. I brought him to his pediatrician, who agreed. I brought him back to the place were he received his band, they stated they have never seen this happen. His head most certainly reverted and got smaller. I go to the Plastic Surgeon tommorrow, I'm curious has this ever happened to anyone before? Any suggestions? Thanks, Lindsey ------------------------------------ For more plagio info

I am very worried, he also has a delay in his fine motor skills, and has low muscle tone. I am wondering if this is all connected somehow? Guest guest
Hey Molly, We've recently had some issues with our orthotist's measurements. They're saying it's because it's hard to " hit " the same spot everytime. Something about a margin of error. What kind of delays do you notice in his fine motor skills? I can understand you being concerned! What does ped say? *9mo*left plagio *tort resolved*STARband 7wks Conner 2yrs NC USA > > > >He wore a Hanger Cranial Band. Guest guest
Molly, I see what you're saying. I really hope he doesn't need surgery. It is great that you have access to a scanner! I wish we had one of those here. Our first son, Conner did everything early. He walked at nine months, ate baby food at 4mo, waved bye bye and said mama well before he was one...everything. Now, we've added and I've discovered that it wasn't my supreme parenting that made Conner so quick to grow up! is 9mo and still rolls over at times when he's sitting (He's kinda plump...like a ball with arms and legs)! He makes absolutely no effort to crawl or reach toys that are out of reach and can not balance AT ALL on his two chubby little feet. I don't know what we're going to do with him. At this rate, he'll be fourteen years old, sitting on the living room floor playing with a glow worm and some plastic keys! He barely made it to sitting by 6.5mo, and I've decided not to sweat it. Every now and then I'll worry about it, but I've officially decided not to! If you or anybody else has any advice about that, let me know! *9mo*tort resolved*lft plagio*STARband 7wks Conner *2yrs NC USA > > > > > > > >He wore a Hanger Cranial Band.
