My baby had red spots on the areas that were most prominent. They

weren't too bad so the therapist did not recommend any adjustments. As

her head grew, the red spots stopped happening. If your baby just

started wearing the band, I'd check in w/ the therapist to make sure

it's fitting correctly. My guess is that this could be resolved with a

simple phone call.

My son had one very mild red spot (about the size of a dime) on the

most prominent part of his forehead bulge the first week in the

band, but then it went away and he's never had it again, nor on the

back of his head on the prominent side. Do the red spots above her

ears go away or fade to light pink within an hour? If so, it's

probably nothing to worry about, but it wouldn't hurt to ask your

ortho about it.
