I weighed both the Hanger and DOC bands

Since I have two failed Hanger bands and one DOC band that we are

surrently using, I thought it might be interesting to do a weight

comparison.

So today when we were at the pediatrician's office, I asked him to

weigh all three bands on the baby scale.

Hanger band#1 (for my then 6 month old) 8 oz

Hanger band#2 (for my then 7 month old) 8.5 oz

DOC Band (made for my 9 month old) 6 oz

The pedi also said that you can get a pretty accurate weight check at

your local supermarket deli. That is where he sends his patients who

ask him to weigh their cub scout pinewood derby cars.

I found this pretty interesting.
