Guest guest
and soon to be a 5th. I've been on LDN 3 1/2 years for progressive MS and LDN has haltd my disease progression. I did other things for my health to compliment the LDN like anti-fungal diet, anti-fungal supplements, anti-viral supplements, swimming pool therapy, massage. My mom did a phone consult with Dr. Bihari will be 3 years ago in April for breast cancer. My mom had a lumpectomy of a very aggressive breast cancer and she chose LDN over chemo. My mom is still cancer free today. My grandma who is now 88 started LDN August 2005 for squamous cell carcinoma, my grandma had very advanced Alzheimer's by this time. Dec. 2005 we decided to have the tumor cut out of my grandma's neck and her surgeon was quite surprised that the cancer was contained in only one lymph gland. My grandma has had no chemo and no radiation, just LDN(4.5mg), Brownwood Acres Red Tart Cherry Juice Concentrate (Montmorency tart cherries are considered Mother Nature's natural chemotherapy), Solaray brand B-Vitamin 100, sublingual B-12, Vitamin C buffered. My grandma's Alzheimer's improved slightly on LDN and LDN has kept her from pogressing. She takes Namenda(which I took her off of for 2 weeks and found she didn't need it but the family that's caring for her insist she take it). She had been on Namenda a year prior to starting LDN so we can actually see what the LDN has done, especially when she had to be off the LDN for 2 weeks...YIKES!!! She's ambulatory with no need for any walking aid unless we take her to a Super Sized mall. My dad just started LDN as a cancer and other autoimmune disease preventative. I have an aunt with colon cancer I am trying to help get on LDN. /Bren
Guest guest
, If your family is anything like my family it would've been very difficult to direct them toward LDN so I congratulate what you've done. Must be something in my delivery (LOL), but I hear from both sides of my family 'but you're not a doctor, what would you know?' Guest guest
Yes, it's the personal experience that makes the difference. I told someone (friend of friend) last Friday about LDN. She was told she has RRMS but new neuro's opinion is that she's been PPMS for some time now. I've heard nothing since but I still hope. Both are auto-immune illnesses. I have informed them about LDN and they know I take it but it goes in one ear and out the other. You can lead a horse to water... Guest guest
Hello , I have a question about that anti-viral supplements you have mentioned. I know you've written before about the anti-yeast supplements (against candida), but the candida is a bacteria. What about the viruses? What kins of supplements can they be cured with? I have congenital virus (HPV), it was due to a routine check up that I found out about it, and now I have been on LDN for 30 days...(I have MS) What do you think about LDN helping fight viruses? Thanks, Nasti [low dose naltrexone] There are 4 in my family on LDN and soon to be a 5th.I've been on LDN 3 1/2 years for progressive MS and LDN has haltd my disease progression. What kinds of supplements. ======== Of course there are the prescription anti-virals and there are two over the counter anti-virals you will want to alternate. L-Lysine 500mg taken 2 times daily, Dr. McCandless uses ViraStop. Use L-Lysine for 3 months and then switch to ViraStop for awhile. You might want to check with Dr. McCandless and see if she can suggest anything else to try. /Bren
