Guest guest
Thanks for the info. I still have not heard anything from my insurance! 50% is better than nothing at all :-) thankk you and good luck to you as well. My sonwas discounted nearly 50% for being on Medicade, so I am sure that itwould be the same way in Florida. As for the explanation for why yourson would have to wear the band longer is simple. His head wont begrowing at such a rapid pace any more, so this will take a bit moretime than a younger child. I hope this helped and good luck.> > From: browneyedgrl2411 <browneyedgrl2411@ >> Subject: Advice!> Plagiocephaly> Date: Monday, July 7, 2008, 11:40 AM> > > > > Hello, my son has just started in his Starband at exactly 1 year > old. Guest guest
Yes, it has been. It is pouring out right now! My yard and driveway are flooded. That is a good idea about the bag. Although I probally would forget the plastic bag lol. Yes it went very well. We go again next Monday. wanted to set the appt on the same day as yours , I told her we had chatted but I could not make it that day. She raved about how cute Marlee is and what happy girl she is. I really like them at the office. I have yet to feel rushed and they answer all my questions and I have had alot of them I still did not get my pics up, I forgot. I will try tom. Gavin is liking his helmet. When we take it off he likes to play with it and he tries to put it back on, it is so cute. Is marlee ok with it on? Does she mind at all? Gavins big brother Evan is 4 and now he is telling us his head is flat and he needs a helmet to. He has been wearing a plastic gators helmet sometimes, talk about brotherly love!! She was from South Carolina though. Has it been raining a lot in St. Augustine? It's been pouring everyday here! If I'm out with Marlee and stuck in the rain I just take her helmet off and put it in a plastic bag until we can get in the car. lol!Jackie> > > > From: browneyedgrl2411 <browneyedgrl2411>> > Subject: Advice!> > Plagiocephaly> > Date: Monday, July 7, 2008, 11:40 AM> > > > > > > > > > Hello, my son has just started in his Starband at exactly 1 year > > old. Guest guest
Oh, I never remember a bag I just ask for one at whatever store I'm in. I've been to all of Marlee's check-ups but I just got a new job and now can't take any time off for 90 days. Her daddy will be taking her to the remainder of her appts. It's kinda sad b/c I haven't missed an appt. Oh well I got to spend the last 2mo at home with her! There's a park really close to Bremer Brace that we would go to after every visit. I love that park in St. Augustine near the parking garage on St. Street. It's really nice. That's really cute how Evan wants a helmet now. Trust me Gavin is going to get so used to his helmet when it's off he'll forget and bump his head! It's kinda nice they have some protection when they're trying to walk and get into everything:) Jackie From: jacquelyndtomlinson <jacquelyndtomlinson @>Subject: Re: Advice!PlagiocephalyDate: Monday, July 14, 2008, 7:26 PM Hey! Guest guest
Congrats on the new job. I am sure I would be a little sad to but I am sure your hubby will update you well on everything. I usually go to other appts by myself while he works but these he actually wants to go with me. I did not know there was a park around there. i am not to familiar with that area . I love the park by the p garage to. I love all the diff areas in it and the wood. We have alot of nice parks in the area luckily and a new spl ashpark at the beach too. the kids love it. I am sure he will get himself a few time when it comes off because he is alot faster now because he does not worry about hitting his head lol. Works for me!! he does not have any red spots at all now except for a little tiny one over his ear. They said they think the seem rubs a little there, it goes away in 15 minutes though. I almost wish there were some spots lol so i knew it was putting some pressure on the sides. It fits fairly snug so i am sure it will guide his head the right way. I noticed the other day when i held it to the light i could see the blue behind the foam in one area in the back. It is the thinnest there due to the brachy so... I just hope it does not mean there is little foam left already after 2 weeks and 1 fitting lol. Can you see any color on her's? Anyone elsesee color through their helmet when held up to light? I guess I am a nitpicker, my hubby tells me just to let them do thei jobs and leave them alone but I can not help myself.
