A few months after starting LDN the migraines disappeared.I started out using 4.5mg LDN with lactose filler and did great, about 5 months later I wanted to try LDN with Avicel(cellulose) filler...headaches, nausea and near vomiting started with the filler change, I wanted to try the avicel filler to see if I could use Skip's pharmacy & get my LDN at a cheaper price but apparenty I am allergic to Avicel so I switched back to lactose and all got much better, no headache, nausea, etc. I have also found that the artificial sweetener Splenda can cause me migraines. I now use Stevia from healthfood store.

Guest guest
I did not take LDN but, I have primary MS and I think my Migraines were my attacks. MS and even my best friends could see I walked a little worse after each Migraine. I never saw anything about that in any book, maybe I have to write my own book... June 1/19/07--Parmajak1@... Guest guest
I have noticed more headaches since LDN and don't know if there is a correlation. I try to drink a full glass of water with the LDN now. I think that is helping. [low dose naltrexone] LDN and Migraines I have a good friend with MS who suffers from Migraines. Guest guest
No, I do not have any other deseases other than endometriosis. I am overweight, which is thought to contribute to the daily headaches, but not all together the cause. Also, I have been on LDN now for one year and have not lost any weight. My family doctor started me on LDN as a last try to get rid of these headaches. The next step would be a hysterectomy (to see if the cause of my headaches is hormone related), but with my weight issue my gyne wants me to loose weight befor a hysterectomy and also does not think the headaches are hormonal related. I just wish these headaches would go away for good...still praying. Guest guest
Hi Are you aware that at the dose you are taking Naltrexone, 8mg, it is NOT the same as the low dose Naltrexone protocol we discuss here. It is thought by some doctors that doses over 4.5 mg of Naltrexone do not have the immune modulating effect. Most people on LDN for autoimmune diseases take either 3.0 mg or 4.5 mg. See www.low dose naltrexone.org. Has the Naltrexone provided headache relief? mjh Posted by: "nessngreg" nessngreg@... nessngreg Tue Aug 7, 2007 4:08 pm (PST) No, I do not have any other deseases other than endometriosis.
