Due to some restrictions that YAHOO! imposes on its message boards,

the message board will " strip off " any/all attachments when the

messages are stored in the archive. That means that folks who access

the messages directly from the YAHOO website (i.e., have their e-mail

preference set to " No Mail/Web Only " , or " Daily Digest " ) will not be

able to view any file attachments.

There is a separate area of the YAHOO groups page where we can upload

files and photos, but due to past abuse by " spammers " , we've been

forced to limit access to those functions to the group moderators.

Also, some of the newer members may be unaware that PAI maintains a

separate website, which can be accessed at

http://www.pancassociation.org

One of the areas on that website is where we keep " members' stories " ,

cross-indexed by geographic area (state or country), by diagnosis

(e.g. divisium, idiopathic, hereditary, etc); and by surgery (e.g.

whipple, TP/ICT, puestow, distal, etc).

To get a file and/or photo posted to the message board, or to have

your story posted on the main PAI website, please send a copy of it

directly to myself at tull3942@...

or to Karyn at KarynWms@... .

Thanks!
