When I was in my 7th month my son dropped and I suffered from

pressure pains all day everyday till the first day of my 38th week. I

had to have a repeat c-section and after the birth my son james

went to the NICU for 8 hours for fluid in his lungs. From the time I

first saw he when they brought him to me after his stay in NICU I

noticed his head. I was really worried about it because my daughter

had a perfectly round head (she was a c-section), she never made to

the birth canal. So my first question is Is Plagio genetic?

My son has been in and out of the hospital for various reasons since

he was 2 weeks old. Second question Why didn't any of the staff or

DOCTORS tell my anything about his head why did they look over it,

should things like this be incorparated in there routine check ups?

has been going to PT since 2 months old and we worked on

repostioning and streching! has torticolis and his measurments

for his Plagio was a 93! How severe is his case of plagio? I've been

worried about it since he was born cause he had a large bump looking

spot on his forhead and his ears were way off from each other (one

was push up far and the other was pushed more back) and the right

side of the back of his head is really flat. We went to the Hanger

here in San antonio and I just wanted to know how good they were and

if anyone has gone to them. And my last question is How much does the

day to day routine change in a houshold that has a child or children

with Plagio and that wear a band (helment)?

Sorry for all the questions but I would greatly apprieciate it if

someone would get back to me with some answers. It would relieve alot

of stress and tension in my life right now.

Mother of a Jenasis Starr a 2year old and a 4 month old

Thank you
