Guest guest
Don't worry too much about the growth spurt, it is really hard to predict with kids. Maybe her spurt won't be in her head :-) When do you get the band? It should be within 2 weeks of the scan, but if you're worried about growth see if they can get you in sooner so it is less of a concern. It sounds like your ortho has good experience. My daughter wore a starband for brachy (flat in back) and did great. Let us know how everything goes. -christine sydney 2 yrs starband grad > > well last friday we went to union orthotics and got the star scan > thing done for Athena's Starband. Guest guest
, She should be getting her helmet this week, they said it takes up to 10 days, and i was going by business days, so that would mean friday at the absolute latest. They said Athena's has a higher priority since she is older. But they said that as soon as it comes in they will call me and we will make the appt to get her in. I will let you all know how it goes. I am still worried but it is more my onw comfort than hers.
