My son can wear his daddy's baseball hats. I took my husbands hats that had velcro adjustments and was able to get them to fit over the helmet. My son has the camo helmet and we found a camo hat from Target, its too cute ! I think finding children to men size hats work, take your son along and try some on, I am sure you will find some that work.

thats actually where we got the idea, my son put his daddys hat on one day, he loves his daddys baseball caps, but we found the childrens size fit fine over his, but I am sure it would depend on the band too, he was only 9-12 mo old and in a docband but we were able to get kid size baseball caps as well as bucket/floppy hat too and since they are kid size he will soon grow into them too
