First week of STARband went well

We are into the second week of Athena's STARband. She did amsazingly

well. sleeps in it beautifully and everthing. my question is

hotuhg...she was just diagnosed with her very first ear infection.

could it have been caused by the helmet for some reason? i know, when

we went for the first follow up, she had to trim the ears a little

bit, but i didnt think it was that bad. im just curious if the helmet

could have been the cause.

also, the ortho recommended we clean it with the alcohol and then go

over it with a tiny bit of baby soap and water. is that right? i

thought you werent supposed to use soap and water on them?

and how can i keep the foam white? it is driving me crazy. she sweats

a lot and the edges are getting dirty and they wont come clean, no

matter how much i scrub it. it is just a pet peeve of mine.
