LDN and sweating at night

Has anyone else noticed that LDN makes them sweat? I don't know the

precise hour this happens to me; it is sometime in the middle of the

night, a few hours after taking it I think. I don't get all out night

sweats, just sweat across my chest and more under my arms. It doesn't

happen to me every night, but when I stopped LDN last week for 6 days,

I had 6 nights of no sweating, and when I started it again 2 nights

ago, the first night I sweat. I'm hoping it's a good thing, but night

sweats with Crohn's usually means increased disease activity, and since

LDN caused my inflammation to go UP (hoping it was the lactose, and not

the LdN) I'm a little worried about the sweating.

I don't know if it matters but I am on 3.0mg of LDN and I still don't sweat.

Yes, I did notice the sweating with LDN. Also, I keep seeing LDN referred to as a "natural" therapy. I don't look at these more's and less's, changes since LDN, as the LDN >Doing< it.

I look at it as, IF I WERE NORMAL, all those years before LDN, THIS is how my body would be working.

My hair and nails now grow twice as fast and much stronger. Did the LDN >DO< that, or is my body now producing and excreting the RIGHT, PROPER, NORMAL about of proteins and whatever else gets used and sent out, that it should have been doing All these years.

I remember when I was younger, I was a Sweater. I remember a 6th grade talk with , who was also a sweater, we were outside in the cold weather doing our winter class project and we both said only we could sweat like this in the cold winter.

But, yes, since being on LDN, I sweat more than I used to, but not more than I used to used to. LOL.

I noticed that my metabolism felt like it went back to 'the good old days' when it was fast. I noticed it slowed down back in 1992, gee, that was after my 2nd of 10 annual attacks in 11 years. Interesting timing.

My internal thermostat is still messed up, I'm still colder than I should be, in the cold, but my underarms are still wetter than they used to be before LDN, but I bet the same as they were in the school days.

I've seen lots of 'strange' things that I realized was NORMAL, I Just hadn't had them there actions and reactions for SO MANY years I had forgot that THIS is normal... Those years in the 90s WEREN'T

It shows you the body is now Working, it's doing things it shoulda been doing all through those years it wasn't.

Or something like that.

JMHO OC, YMMV :)

Debora:

I had that as well initially. It goes away once you're Crohn's is

under control. I hope you stick with it because I was great for a

month then flared again and now it's under control. Hang in there.

I've been taking LDN for almost two years and have never experienced

sweating, as described by you.

I have told this story before but will repeat for those who didn't read it prior. One of my first clues of an impending attack is ice cold feat. My first night on LDN within 15 minutes of taking it, my feet got toasty warm! I saw this as a very good sign. Best, Kathy
