head shiver

My 6 month old every so often shakes his head back and forth (almost

like a shiver) for about 5 seconds while drifting off to sleep while

taking a bottle. His eyes are always closed like he is sleeping. Has

anyone experianced this with the DOC band. I am begining to worry so I

have been recording the date this happens, duration and time of day. I

read one post about a baby shaking his head after an adjustment but

that is not the case with Zach. I asked my DR. and he said that babies

have very immature nervous systems so sometimes shake. But it is weird

because he only does it while drifting off to sleep. Any information

would be appreciated:)

My son used to do this around 6 months or so as well. He used to shake his head when first feeding and when trying to fall asleep. I was told it was normal and not to worry. He is now over a year old and walking talking and doing everything ahead of schedule so far! Dont worry the shaking is normal and it used to happen more when my baby was in the band but also happended out of it too. Tammy mom to DOC band graduate.
