Guest guest
Well we are closing in on 13 weeks in our Docband. My son Logan is scheduled to graduate this Wed. We are making the 3 hour drive out to CT in Clinton, Conn. for what is supposed to be our last appt. However, I am beginning to question whether we are really done. Logan started out with 8mm of asymmetry caused by torticollis which has improved but is not completely resolved. At our last app. the clinician told me that a second band is an option for Logan. She did not say what she recommended, but said that if Logan had come into her office for the first time now, he would be borderline as far as if she would recommend banding or not. I am completely obsessed with Logan's head and can still see obvious plagio when his hair is wet however, I don't know how noticeable it is to others (espeically when his hair is dry). I know that no one has a perfectly shaped head but I just don't want to have regrets later. My husband does not want to do the second band. Also, the 3 hour drive each way is a bit of a hardship for us. I don't know what to do and need to decide ASAP. I am posting some pictures under Logan TM. Please take a look and help me decided what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. TIA, Amy in NY Logan 10 mos.
