Guest guest
Yu know I wish I had had more time to chat with the woman I met who went to Greenville. I met a woman at the library when was in his docband and she said they went to Greenville for the starband and wished they have used CT. But with 2 toddlers running around I didnt get into too much conversation, just that we were very happy with CT and chose them b/c Hanger here (Columbia) wasnt able to help him and Greenville was just as far as Charlotte. So I have no clue why she said that. I am curious now though if she had similiar experiences to what you have said. I also don't know how bad her childs head was to start but it didn't look bad when I saw it (post treatment) but without knowing how bad it was to start and knowing my comparison is my son who was severe it is hard for me to draw the conclusion that she wasnt happy with the results b/c they looked good to me. If I see the receptionist at my daughters school I may ask how their treatment is going, she said her granddaughter had just started treatment in Greenville though didnt specify the band. Do they have Hanger out there? This was the beginning of the school year so I would assume she is graduated by now. We go to Pitt County Memorial Hospital Regional Rehab Center for treatment. It's in Greenville, NC. They have been very nice/plesant there. Very friendly and does look to be making progress. But his front to back cross measurements show that both the prominent and flat spots have grown equally and that can't be. I can see a difference! I just think the measurements are innaccurate. There are nine holes drilled into the back of the helmet and they stick (honest to god) the end of a pencil in each hole each time we go. They then measure if the edge of the helmet is closer or farther away from his head in each. A freakin pencil for crying out loud!! I'm like, where are we? And at least they were using a new pencil (they put the eraser end in the holes), but last week he used a different pencil that clearly had been used many times. What the heck!!? Has anybody ever heard of this? Guest guest
, Thanks! I would looove to know why she said that too! But, I really don't know if there's a Hanger band place nearby. I appreciate anything you can dig up. I am not in a full panic *yet* because I can eyeball his head and see progrss and I don't think I'm " seeing what I want to see " . Oh boy!
