Guest guest
Hi Becky; I had a mild case of diverticulitis - no fun. It's a pock in your intestines and it can get infected. Nuts are one thing the doctor told me to avoid. I took some antibiotics and it went away. I still eat some nuts but I am very careful about chewing very well. Guest guest
HI all Has anyone used LDN for Diverticulitis?? (spelling probably wrong!) I have a good friend that has recently been diagnosed with it - he also has diabetes. Thanks!
Guest guest
- are you taking anti-inflammatory meds? If so, for how long? I know that they can cause all kinds of intestinal problems - I wouldn't be surprised if that were the culprit. The only 2 people I know personally who have diverticulitis both have taken anti- inflammatory meds for osteoarthritis. Neither takes nor has ever taken a biological. I take naproxen myself and would not want to live without it, even if it does cause some stomach problems for me! best regards, sherry z > > Like the PA and P wasn't enought, now this...I was > hospitalized for 3 days, now I'm home and still sick. > The doctor told me to stop the Enbrel. Guest guest
- I would suspect the long tem use of NSAIDs may have contributed to your diverticulitis. regards, sherry z > > I took them for many years but since the biologics I > haven't taken anything but Tylenol or prednisone, but > the late one I stopped months ago.
