Guest guest
I know that people mean well when they post information not related to LDN on this group, but when you go to the home page of this group, it is specifically NOT allowed. THere are other groups, like ldnsupport, that do allow this kind of off topic posting. Perhaps this should be posted to that group rather than here.AOL now offers free email to everyone. Guest guest
And to add to this may I say: The safest known Vitamin to use with LDN or any prescription medicine that I know of is called: *THIAMINE VITAMIN B1. (also called The Anti-Nerve damage Vitamin). Thiamine Vit. B1 actually PREVENTS Paralysis and a numbess;tingling. Guest guest
well, that surely jives with what happened with me! In 2005 I was using a cane to get around most of the time, when I was heading camping I started taking B1's, they say that helps with mosquitoes. I did that every year, sometimes it helps, sometimes I can't tell.... I usually start taking them when I head up there, and stop when I get home. Well, 2005 was the most nights in a row I went, so I started the B1's 7/1, a lot earlier than previous years. After dinner on 7/14 I suddenly felt like I didn't need the cane, so I stopped using it. We had vidalia onions with dinner and we joked that that must be it. But then I realized I'd been taking B1 for 2 weeks. Previous years it would only be a week or less, this time it was at the 2 week mark. So I didn't stop taking the B1's... and except for long walks or geocaching, I haven't used the cane since. I ran out of B1's recently and got Super B Complex (or is that SuperB Complex ? LOL) that has 100mg along with the other B's and some C, so I've been taking them instead. So maybe B1 100 mg with the LDN every day IS a winning combination. I didn't want to stop the B1's to find out. Guest guest
Yes Ann, this is a great vitamin to add. With some people they feel so much better taking it. One should know if it is helping them within a few weeks. Many MS'rs are low in B1, but the dose they need should come in a shot form. This form of vitamin B1 was made to be able to take in pill form without being toxic. I can send information to anyone that may request it. It is safe and works well with LDN. My best Aletha [low dose naltrexone] Re:OFF TOPIC: News Item: Pregnancy hormone key to repairing nerve cell And to add to this may I say: The safest known Vitamin to use with LDN or any prescription medicine that I know of is called:*THIAMINE VITAMIN B1. Guest guest
Hello? I hear you ! this is exactly the type of " testimony: I have been wanting to hear. I have heard The Thiamine Vit. B1 is used to ward off mosquitos and I understand this works very well. What a lucky coincidence for you! It takes Doctors decades to come to these obvious and wonderful conclusions. So you say you were on the B1 for two weeks prior to the stopping of using the Cane? But previously you used the B1 for only 7 days? What an interesting story! Thanks for sharing ! Thiamine B1; as you know; is a water-soluble single Vitamin of the Vitamin B-Complex. Actually; the way you are taking the Vitamins; such as first doing a round of the Thiamine Vitamin singly and then going on to the B- Complex is the recommended. You can also take the B-Complex AND a B1 tab if you want. Did you buy any particular brand of Thiamine Vitamin B1? The dosage of Thimaine Vitamin B1 is 100 mgs. called " B-100. " You did good ! " Let me or us know if you feel " better on the B- Complex or the same; give the B-Complex time to work. And as I say; As far as I know there are no known interactions of Thiamine and LDN. > > > > Some pople taking LDN suffer from nerve cell damage and paralysis, > so in > > this case and repair to nerve cells is very much related to MS and > ALS > > > > > > > > > > > > foxhillers@ > > > m > > Sent > by: To > > low dose naltrexone > low dose naltrexone > > > cc > > No Phone > Info > > Available > Subject > > [low dose naltrexone] Re:OFF > TOPIC: > > News Item: Pregnancy hormone > key to > > 23/02/2007 10:37 repairing nerve > cell > > > > > > > > Please respond > to > > > low dose naltrexone > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I know that people mean well when they post information not > related to LDN on this > > group, but when you go to the home page of this group, it is > specifically NOT > > > allowed. > > > > > > > > > > > > THere are other groups, like ldnsupport, that do allow this kind > of off topic > > > posting. > > > > > > Perhaps this should be posted to that group rather than > here. > > > > > > > > > > > AOL now offers free email to everyone. Guest guest
Hello Aletha: And thank you for your reply. You are correct the Vitamin known as Thiamine B1 does seem to help people quickly; however the Vitamin is recommended to be used long-term. Nutriton and pharmaceutical co.'s are developing better Nutrients and pharmceuitcals; so the point is: The Thiamine B1 pills of today are alot better than the Thiamine B1 pills of yesteryear. So what is this new form of Thiamine Vitamin B1 you mention? Thiamine works so well in restoring nerve function; it can actually undo foot-drop. Thanks ! Food sources of Thiamine Vit. B1: Rice-Bran; Citrus frutis; Seeds (like sunflower Seeds); Peas; Beans; Nutritional Yeasts;whole wheat. <Aletha@...> wrote: > > Yes Ann, this is a great vitamin to add. Guest guest
This shot of B1 is party of the Klenner protocol which can be read about at Larry the Compounder's site. It sounds pretty safe as long as you order the preservative free type. Many people are allergic to the preservatives and you don't want an anaphylactic shock to occur while at home treating yourself so I say pay the extra money and save yourself the chance of harm.
