We hope that you will be able to join us for the upcoming course: Agricultural

Medicine: Occupational and Environmental Health for Rural Health Professionals

to be held November 30th-December 4th at the Holiday Inn Express in Greenville,

North Carolina. The course will provide an intensive look in occupational and

environmental exposures in agricultural production including how those exposures

can be prevented, diagnosed, and treated. Topics will include, but not be

limited to, respiratory diseases, zoonotic diseases, veterinary biologicals &

therapeutic hazards, acute agricultural injuries (and rescue), behavioral health

issues, agricultural skin diseases, ergnonomics, selection, fit, and purchase of

personal protective equipment, health effects of agricultural pesticides,

on-farm safety audits and services for individuals working in agriculture with

The early registration deadline for the course has been extended to Friday,
