New to group - insurance questions

Hi there! Our daughter just got her band two days ago and the

insurance company has yet to clarify what they will cover. Does

anyone have Destiny Health insurance? It's my understanding they may

consider the entire treatment an orthotic device - for which they have

a capped amount of $1300 - since CT is out of network, they will only

cover 70% of the capped amount.

Just curious if there is another way to bill it so the band is one

charge and the treatment another (rather than lumping it all into one

" orthotic device " category).

The insurance company would not tell CT representatives their

allowable amounts, but based on the codes and my company's website, I

believe we'll be expected to pay around $3,000.

If anyone has had any luck contesting this, I'd love to have your advice.
