Hi -

I hope Isabella is adjusting well to her new " hat! " I'm not sure

what type of band you are using, but regular alcohol works the best.

I was told that the scented kind could irritate the skin. (I

honestly didn't even know there was scented alcohol until I heard it

on this board!). I scrub it with a toothbrush about 3 times and then

place it in front of an oscillating fan to speed up the drying time

(which isn't long anyway, since alcohol evaporates pretty quickly).

Putting it out in the sun helps kill some of the bacteria and smell,

but I keep forgetting to try that since I always wash it at night,

but I'm going to give it a try now that summer is here.
