Good luck! Which CT are you going to again? I can't remember. I swear

I was under the impression that all CTs had the DSi now (I thought

Charlotte was the last to get it), but I guess I was wrong. I'll have

to look into that. Either way, you're in good hands! Let us know how

it goes!

I was just wondering did Hanger say why the bands failed? We have a

Hanger band and just started about a week and a half ago. They told us

they had never had one not work..now I am beginning to wonder if that is

true... Thank you for any information.

Hopefully Shane's mom will reply with her story, but in general the

problem is that different orthos have varying levels of experience.

Sadly some just don't have enough experience and training to always

do a good job. I'm not sure about this case, but that is why it is

important to check our your ortho. My daughter wore a starband and

had very good results, but some others have had a bad experience. It

usually just comes down to the ortho and how good they are.

Maybe they meant that office???

If you look thru old posts for Hanger, you will see parents here that have had bad Hanger bands and had to switch to a different brand.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. We travelled to Clinton, CT for

the casting today. He cried/whimpered through it but casted well and

that is what is really important.

Connecticut is scheduled to get their scanner any day now but

honestly, after all that we have been through, I was happy to have an

old fashioned casting done. It seems that this method has been very

successful for getting accurate bands so it was worth the

inconvenience.

,

Just wanted to pass on that the Paramus office of CT just got their

scanner this week. I believe they are hoping to start using it

tomorrow, assuming the installation and testing over the past two

days went well.

Thanks! I did confirm that both Paramus, NJ and Clinton, Connecticut

are getting the DSi this week, so there should be no more casting at

CT!
