We have UHC and live in Charlotte. They will not cover the cost of

the DOC band. We tried to appeal but they would not budge. We paid

$3300 out of pocket upfront to CT. Hayden was referred to CT by our

pediatrician at 4 mos however we couldn't financially afford it at

that time. He's now 7.5 mos and has been in the band almost 2 weeks.

They estimated 10-12 weeks. If he needs another band we more then

likely will not get it due to finances.
