I've been wondering the same thing! We have about 2 weeks left and I am worrying about how Logan will sleep without it on now. Is there an adjustment period?

We're almost at the halfway point with Malcolm's helmet and I'm already looking forward to his graduation, of course. How does it work once baby no longer needs the helmet? Is he weaned off of it like he was weaned onto it? What can I expect? Make Windows Vista more reliable and secure with Windows Vista Service Pack 1. Learn more.

My son was in the DOC band and they recommend taking it off at graduation and never putting it back on again! We actually have it in the closet as a memento! Best of luck as you continue your journey. Tammy

Our ortho told us we could just keep the band off, no weaning required.

However, he hated having if off and had a hard time sleeping without it so

he wore it at night for a couple of nights while he got use to being without

it.

My son wore a helmet for 6 months and he

had no problem whatsoever adjusting to sleeping with it off.
