Guest guest
Tracey this brings tears to my eyes - go !!! I am sp pleased for you! ENJOY Mandi in UK But, instead, picked up about 15 new words today! He actually POINTED to 10 sesame street characters on the computer today and said each of their names! Finally, my son said elmo. Then, he POINTED to his coloring pad which we keep on a shelf and said " color, color! " . WOW! He wanted me to turn the water on today and actually brought me to the water and said, " wa-wa. " He repeated a few words today without having to read them first, but just by hearing me say them. He did become a bit cranky this morning for about 2 hours after he had his first drop of GSE which he took happily in his orange juice along with no-fenol. After that, he was deliriously happy and so were we!

Guest guest
Hi ! After reading the part of 's book that addresses yeast, I realized that a lot of the symptoms of yeast that she described sounded a lot like Nick. The " drunken " behavior, giggling without anything to giggle about, night wakings. Nick would have a month or two of great sleep and then go a month of waking in the middle of the night, laughing and playing. He always seemed happy doing it and my husband has never been a good sleeper so we didn't think much of it. Also, Nick is a complete carb addict like me. Lots of yeast there. And although we saw great improvements in Nick with the enzymes, especially in his speech since he was non-verbal prior to them, there was always this " thing " that I knew was still there. So, after I attributed it to yeast, I went to the EnzymeStuff Site and did the slow and steady thing. We were already doing all three enzymes at each meal/snack, I just had to change from giving his probiotic with meals to in between them and add no-fenol in between as well. I just recently received my GSE from Nutribiotic (Thanks Dana!) and we started using it yesterday. I will say that did have some die-off symptoms when we switched the timing of probiotic and added the no-fenol in between breakfast and lunch. He would cry and be very clingy for about 20-30 minutes and was generally pretty whiney during the day. But, the last 5 or so days he's been much better. I was expecting some more die-off symptoms with the GSE but there were none. I think because we did the slow and steady that it was easier on his little body. So, we've seen nothing but improvements yesterday and today. I hope this helps but, if I can help more just let me know. Good luck!! If you wouldn't mind sharing, I'm curious, what were Nicks' issues with yeast & what types of signs did he show? I have a sneaking suspician that our boy has some yeast problems of his own, so I'm curious to hear what other folks have experienced. Thanks! ~
Guest guest
just to recap, we started with a starband from children's healthcare of atlanta for my son alex that we never could get to fit properly. we abandoned the starband and decided to seek treatment with cranial technologies up in north carolina instead. our insurance is paying for neither. we just got an email from children's and they have reduced our fee! instead of paying the full $3,300 we agreed to, we are now only obligated to pay for $950 (which is the cost of the helmet plus the five or so sessions we did do). what a relief! and what nice people to do that for us. Guest guest
That is so wonderful of them to do that for you. I think I'd write them a quick thank you note for being one of the good guys out there. You always seem to get every little complaint but never hear as much praise as you should, you know? Congrats!!
