Josh,

We have a tracked an increase in Renal

Cell Carcinoma in Farmworkers. There have been clusters of this type of

cancer but no real studies to show why as far as I know. The University

of Washington and Salud Family Health Center along with others were funded by

NIOSH to do a pilot project several years ago to see if the “Life Time

Exposures to Chemicals” might be a way to find out why the increase in

some cancers.

Kidney Disease and Farmworkers

Hello Everyone,

Does anyone know of any

studies that examine kidney disease and farmworkers or any programs that are

working with farmworkers on this issue? So far I haven’t been able
