Hello All-

My son is 6 months and will be getting his DOC band next week. I have

a lot of anxiety about it all. I know it is the right thing but just

feel so sorry for the little guy - wearing the band during June, July

and August in Houston sounds miserable.

I never see any other kids out and about with a band on. I want to be

prepared when someone asks why he is wearing the " helmet " . Do you have

any ideas for an easy explanation in layman's terms?
