we put stickers on our starband (had a pattern) and they lasted 5-7

days most of the time (with nothing over them). Some people add mod

podge or clear nail polish to help it last longer. I don't think you

can damage the outside of the band, it is pretty tough. Just don't get

anything on the foam liner.
