LDN helped my lung expansion. I had terrible shortness of breath

prior to LDN. I the 3 years I've been posting here I haven't heard of

LDN causing shortness of breath, I have heard of first dose causing

anxiety type feelings but that fades away as body adjusts. What

dosage of LDN did you start with?

, LDN user for progressive MS 3 1/2 years. Progression has been

halted for 3 1/2 years on LDN.

I had the anxiety type feelings the first 2 days, but nothing like

that since. I started on 4.5mg right away and have been on that since.

By the way, I am taking LDN for Ulcerative Colitis - I have not seen

much improvement in symptoms after 2 months. Should I try a lower dose

perhaps?

Ken,

LDN helps the immune system which helps the body heal itself. Are you

also " helping the body " in the other ways? Are you careful with your

diet and take suppliments? Do you watch your stress level? For some

reason, it seems that your body is healing slowly. If you can figure

out why, maybe you can speed up your recovery. You do not mention any

problems with your dose of LDN(4.5), so I can't see how lowering it

would be beneficial.

Where do you get your LDN filled, what is the filler in the capsules?

Have you eliminated from your diet, sugar, gluten, corn, dairy. You

might try a lower dose to see what happens. It takes 6 months or more

for gluten to get out of your system.

I had chest pains on 4.5mg, but could breath just fine. I do best on 2mg. Naltrexate blocks calcium ions so maybe is reason it causes reactions in chest area for some. Calcium ions help muscle contraction. B

If you are trying to halt Multiple Sclerosis disease progression, 2mg

won't do the trick. You need to be up to at least 3mg according to

Bihari.

if anything LDN should help to treat some variants of asthma.

I doubt it's related.

I was DX with asthma in 10/1999. I had allergy tests 2/03 and was given Advair 100/50, twice a day. By July I was down to 1 time a day and then in September I stopped taking it. Haven't used it much since. I brought it with me to Florida in 1/04 and then used it in 7/04 while camping, one time a day.. and then I just stopped taking it.

Now that I'm thinking about it.. I can't even remember the last time I had even slight wheezing. OH, that's just so annoying. wow. It's been a long while now!

So I'd say no, no shortness of breath, not perfect, but better. I guess it's even better now that I quit cigarettes back in April.
