As more research has been done by Bihari, he has found that the optimal dose for an adult is 4.5mg and he has also found that doses below 3.0mg will not halt MS disease progression. This is what I gained from Dr. Bihari via a phone consultation.

It doesn't agree with what she says in this post. ????

Hi All,Thanks for concern and advice. I have transverse myelitis(diagnosed in 2000) and an unknown illness. After yrs of being told I was not that bad off, I now have mri's with lesions on brain and spine, but no definite diagnosis other than the tm and some arthritis. I have symptoms of ms and one doctor who told me I did not have ms did write ms on his bill. Right now I am just trying to get to where I can feel half decent and 2mg does that. I do hope to get to 3mg just in case doctors are again off and I really do have ms. There is also a good chance I have old case of lyme's, since I have had many tick bites and this was stated as one possible reasons for my brain lesions by radiologist. I am taking cat's claw just in case I have lymes. I have pretty much become my own doctor, since the ones I have seen seem to be doing a lets wait and see how bad she gets thing, and I really do not want to wait to see how bad I can get.

If you are trying to halt Multiple Sclerosis disease progression, 2mg

won't do the trick. You need to be up to at least 3mg according to

Bihari.
