half life of ALA

This has been driving me crazy but I did some general research on ALA

online and it says its half life is only 30 minutes. Here's just an

example link but I found a ton of others:

This is really very discouraging to me (I haven't started chelation yet

but am just gathering all the info I can) and was very startled to see

this info.
