arsenic exposure sources?

Both blood and urine tests done with a conventional toxicologist,

plus a urine pophryrin test (all done a few weeks ago) show elevated

arsenic. I don't believe any previous tests (eg. done last year)

showed this. So it makes me think I got arsenic in me just fairly

recently (within the last year), and I'm scratching my head trying to

figure out what the source(s) could've been.

I know arsenic could come from shellfish, contaminated water (eg.

well water), and possibly chicken. Is there anything else?

I haven't had shellfish in quite a while (have tried to avoid it b/c

of possible HM's), but I did have sardines several times before the

tests. But I thought sardines were relatively " safe " fish b/c of

their size, etc?

I did have NYC tap water several times, but could that really be a

possible source? I didn't think something as bad as arsenic would

be " allowed " in public tap water...

Have definitely eaten chicken (mostly non-organic), but didn't think

there'd be enough possible arsenic in there to really amount to much

(maybe I was wrong?).

I'm just baffled as to how I got an elevated level of arsenic within

one year... I also need to find out so I can avoid *further*

contamination.

If any thoughts, pls send!
