Guest guest
Yes, It is easy to go crazy trying to get your child where they should be..... We did it all alone..... I can remember people saying things to me all along about Mark's development and I would start to go insane since 'I KNEW' he wasn't where he should be..... but nothing I did caught him up..... no professionals ever were there for us. So now that you are getting lots of help and support, it is definately one day at a time thing and keep it all moving forward. I am so glad that your with NACD since they have sooooo much experience to draw upon and to use to help you with. Someday, you can return the favour and help some other mom who finds herself in your shoes..... [sPAM][ ] Re: MB12 for Global Apraxia Hi , Thanks for your response. Yes, we are doing NACD...just started and I will look into the book you and Janice suggested. On another note, I know that for me, personally, when I focus on things like where my dd " should " be....I get crazy. (like she is almost 3 and " should " be doing xyz...) She is where she is and just like there is a spectrum for autism, there is one for Global Apraxia and she is definitely on it...she has " motor planning disorder " written all over her. Anyway, just trying to maintain peace while still searching out every option for her and trying not to leave any stone unturned... :-) tara --------------------------------- Never miss a thing. Guest guest
MB12 and global apraxia: not the cure all. Kathy did this for who simply ended up high in B12. Other interventions, like diet and fish oil and mixed tocopherols and craniosacral therapy have taken her farther. > > Yes, It is easy to go crazy trying to get your child where they should be..... > > We did it all alone.....
