Guest guest
I have to agree. OUr son was just retested to maintain funding and his Overall IQ went up 20 points in a year! Then the psychologist said that it was still a " low " score for him. He said to fix the OT (fine motor issues and spacial issues) as well as the speech and then have him retested in a year. The new IQ score effectively cancels my funding so that is not good, but I am thrilled with the score because I have been able to get more appropriate services via the school district because of it. i am also supplementing privately. > > > > We finally had our appointment with our 7 year old daughter today > and got our official diagnosis today of dyspraxia, (obviously > apraxia of speech as well which we have known since age 3) but one > thing that came up that must have passed me by in all the early > testing was that she has an IQ of 70.
