Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I have a few questions regarding constipation, as well as some other things. First of all, my son has been having some issues again with constipation (no bowel movements for several days; but he's not complaining of pain, either). I'd like to know if any of the supplements may be causing it. Although I doubt supplements are the cause, I'd like to check to " make sure " . the following is a list of supplements that I give my son each day: NN Omega 3-6-9 (two caps) NN Arctic Cod Liver Oil (1 tsp) Kirkmans Calcium Magnesium Liquid (2 tsp) 1 mulitvitamin (Flintstones Chewable.....I have the super nu thera, but can't get him to take it (no matter what I do.....so he's back on the flintstones Chewable Acidophilius by American Health - a dose every two days to start. **Would Vit. E help with constipation?? We're also doing gfcf diet. He's completely milk free, but does get gluten and wheat from time to time. It's been a slow and steady process for us. Our progress is steady, and we're very close to being gluten/wheat free. **I'm wondering if any of the above can cause constipation?? **Does having a clean diet, then an infraction create the constipation?? **Is the the natural progression of the gfcf diet.....constipation from time to time. We've had labs (through healthcare) done, with nothing significant noted. We're having more done through the DAN. My son's bowel movements are often green or greenish. The DAN said that this was probably from malabsorption of bile resulting from inflamation of the intestines. Does anyone here have any experience with this as well?? Thanks so much _________________________________________________________________ Connect and share in new ways with Windows Live. http://www.windowslive.com/share.html?ocid=TXT_TAGHM_Wave2_sharelife_012008
