Guest guest
Hello, I have been a memember for about a little over a year. My son has apraxia, he has always made sounds and even spoke but babbled mostly. My speech therapist also helps children with Autism as well as children and adults with all sort of issues. I wanted to share this with all of you because going thru all of this with my son has taught me to respect so many other parents and have a new found respect for the children that try so hard to be heard and have a voice in this world. I have learned so much from so many of you, more than you will ever know, I communicate with my son mainly due to the understanding that many of the parents have taught me. I cry a lot, but not from sadness but from the joy I have now from connecting with my son and even watching his frustration in trying to get thru to me. Check out the video below. Enjoy! Some wonderful people have made a video that will help raise money for Autism Speaks. Whenever someone watches the video, 49 cents will be donated to the organization. The link is at the bottom of the page. The video is very moving and inspiring. It's beautiful to watch. Please take the few minutes required to view the video. Please watch it so we can continue raising money to help research this disorder. Thanks. _____ > http://whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com/videos/view/id/248399 <http://whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com/videos/view/id/248399> >
